13 is a remake of a 2006 French film by the same name but it isn’t a copy cat film in the way you may think, this film is directed by Géla Babluani who was the director of the French version, so clearly this has his blessing!
With that being said, this story line has some changes in it, as the director didn’t just want to shoot the same film in English.

This film stars 50 Cent, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke and Sam Riley and looks pretty interesting to say the least! I have not been able to find a solid release date on this yet but I would guess the earlier months of 2011 and I can’t wait!
13 follows the story of a young, innocent construction worker who steals an envelope containing instructions for a mysterious job that promises to pay out a fortune. He soon finds himself in the middle of a deadly ring of clandestine gamblers placing bets on the outcome of a multi-player, high stakes tournament of Russian roulette. It is a story of luck, chance, the loss of innocence and the relationship between power and money.
