Some teachers just don’t like to teach; ask Elizabeth (Cameron Diaz), a junior high teacher that continually smokes, drinks, swears, and acts up while trying to get out of her day job by finding a man to provide for her. After getting out of a bad relationship, Elizabeth has her eyes set on rich substitute teacher Scott Delacorte (Justin Timberlake). Elizabeth must win over Scott from her rival coworker Amy (Lucy Punch), while fighting off Russell Gettis (Jason Segel), a sarcastic PE teacher at the school.
