There have been rumors about a Gears of War movie floating around for what seems like ages now, and now DJ Whoo Kid (aka Mr. Video Game Freak) has proof that it IS in the works!! In the interview above from 2007, Cliff Bleszinski (aka Cliffy B) announced that the film was coming, but that was two years ago!!
It just so happens that Cliffy B is a crazy fan of Whoo Kid’s Hollywood Saturday show on Sirius/XM! The fact that Whoo Kid was bigging up the first Gears Of War video game on the radio show and actually finished it in three weeks drove Bleszinski crazy! He some how got in contact with Whoo Kid and sent him an autographed movie prop of the actual gun used in many of the film’s scenes!!
Of course Whoo Kid went crazy with it in the streets of New York, scaring fans with this bloody prop saw gun (autographed by Cliffy B)! Pow!!!
