Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was found guilty of 17 of 20 felonies including bribery, wire fraud, attempted extortion and more today (June 27) and is facing upwards of 20 years in prison!

The jury found Blagojevich guilty of trying to sell the Senate seat that Barack Obama left upon being elected President!

   Most of us in Ill-In-Oy figured that if the ex-gov had anything on other pols worth selling, he would have done it a while ago in a plea deal. As the jury determined, he certainly tried to sell other things for money/influence, so it’s not like it wouldn’t have crossed his mind.
