The Step Up movie series is back with a new 3D version… Step Up 3-D, of course. The movie is due out in August, and stars Step Up 2 alum Adam Sevani (as Moose), Luis Rosado (as Monster), Christopher Scott (as Hair), Glee‘s Harry Shum Jr. (as Cable) and director Jon Chu.
Alyson Stoner reprises her role as Camille from the original 2006 Step Up. Hip Hop fans may remember Alyson best for her video, tour and TV appearances with Missy Elliott in ’02, as well as work with Eminem, Bow Wow, Outkast, Will Smith and more.
Joining the cast of Step Up 3D this time around are Sharni Vinson (Home and Away), Ally Maki (10 Things I Hate About You) and a lot of relatively unknown young dancers. Fortunately, So You Think You Can Dance season 4 standout Stephen “tWitch” Boss should make this movie a little more interesting.
Not much more can be said since there is no Channing Tatum (again), so enjoy the trailer…
**On a side note, tWitch will be returning to Season 9 of SYTYCD with a team of  past all-stars, who will be partnered each week with the new contestants. (You can read more about that *here*) We’ll also be seeing more of tWitch in Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming with BET’s Terrence J and young playboy Tyler Nelson from MTV’s Taking the Stage. Can’t wait!
