Being born and raised in a small town and never leaving it can make you socially awkward and globally unaware as seen in the upcoming comedy Cedar Rapids!

To call insurance agent Tim Lippe (Ed Helms), “naive” is a gross understatement. He’s never left his small hometown. He’s never stayed at a hotel. And he’s never experienced anything like Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sent to represent his company at the annual insurance convention, Tim is soon distracted by three convention veterans (John C. Reilly, Anne Heche and Isiah Whitlock Jr.) who will show him the ropes and push his boundaries. For a guy who plays everything by the book, this convention will be anything but conventional.

Although Ashton Kutcher was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, he is not starring in this film! Instead Ed Helms (The Office, The Hangover), John C. Reilly (Talladega Nights, Step Brothers), Sigourney Weaver, Anne Heche, Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine, What Happens in Vegas), Isiah Whitlock Jr., and Mike O’Malley (Glee, Yes Dear) fit the bill!

Cedar Rapids is slated to hit theaters February 11, 2011!

In his upcoming film Spread, Ashton Kutcher plays a slick-talking womanizer named Nikki who ALWAYS gets the girl! He’s got ladies falling around him left and right, and doesn’t really care to change his lifestyle.Â Anne Heche (who has been sticking largely to TV since her 2002 role in John Q) plays a cougar whom Nikki sees as his easy ride. He does whatever he wants to do, and is confident he’s got it all in the bag. Of course, Karma is a bitch, and Nikki is about to meet her.

The movie is full of Â TV crossovers like Margarita Levieva (The Invisible, Vanished), Sebastian Stan (Rachel Getting Married, Gossip Girl, Kings), Sonia Rockwell (90210) andÂ Hart Bochner (The Starter Wife). Veteran actress Maria Conchita Alonso and porn diva Sasha Gray also co-star.

Some critics are already raving about Ashton Kutcher‘s performance in Spread, and hopefully this will turn out to be more than just another boy-meets-girl-after-girl-after-girl flick. The movie will be in theaters on August 14!
