The Fighter starring Mark Wahlberg tells the tale of Irish boxer Micky Ward and his struggle to becoming world lightweight champion! Christian Bale plays Micky‘s half-brother Dicky Eklund, who was a talented fighter in his own right, even going the distance with Sugar Ray Leonard in a title fight before turning to a life of crime and ending in prison! After cleaning up his life, Eklund helped Micky make his mark on boxing history while making his run for the title!

The Fighter opens in theaters December 10!

Will Ferrell is teaming up once again with Saturday Night Live writer/director Adam McKay (Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers) for The Other Guys, slated for release in August! Mark Wahlberg joins in the fun, as he and Ferrell play cops with big dreams and less-than-perfect plans to get to the top.

The Other Guys co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton and Damon Wayans, Jr. Other appearances include Lindsay Sloane (Bring It On, She’s Out of My League), Ray Stevenson (Punisher: War Zone, Rome), Steve Coogan (Percy Jackson & The Olympians), Bob Riggle (Step Brothers, The Hangover) and Andy Buckley (The Office).

There will also be some random cameos from the likes of Paris Hilton, Anne Heche and Derek Jeter. Sounds like a wild bunch! What do you think about this trailer? Will you be hitting the theaters to see The Other Guys this summer?

They decide that a night on the town will liven things up, Â but find that giving a fake name for a table reservation brings them far more excitement than they bargained for.

With the talents of Carell and Fey, we’d hardly need a major supporting cast, but Date Night is delivering an all-star line-up! Mark Wahlberg, Taraji P. Henson, Mila Kunis, Ray Liotta, Common, Â Kristin Wiig (SNL, Whip It, Extract), James Franco (Spiderman, Milk) and budding pop singerÂ Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) all make appearances in the Foster’s wild adventure.

Date Night is in theaters April 9, 2010.

The Lovely Bones Trailer – Mark Wahlberg, Susan Sarandon and Peter Jackson

This Winter, theaters will be filled with a lot of light-hearted holiday fare, but Peter Jackson‘s The Lovely Bones will merge drama, family, fantasy and mystery. The film stars young Saoirse Roman (Atonement, City of Ember) as a girl who is murdered, with Mark Wahlberg as her caring father who never gives up his search for the truth.

Susan Sarandon co-stars, along with Rachel Weisz (The Constant Gardener, Fred Claus), Stanley Tucci (Julie & Julia, The Devil Wears Prada), Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) and Amanda Michalka (Super Sweet 16: The Movie). Â Ryan Gosling (The Notebook) was originally cast as the father in the movie, but rumored “creative differences” – and even some insiders saying he was “too fat” -Â led to Wahlberg taking on the role.

The Lovely Bones is slated for release on December 11, but writer/director/producerÂ Peter Jackson‘s work is far from over! He’s also producing the upcoming Halo movie (based on the popular Xbox 360 video game) and is producing and writing screenplays forÂ The Hobbit (coming in 2011) and The Hobbit 2. Both are being directed and co-written by Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy I and II, Pan’s Labyrinth). If you’re a fan of the Lord of the Rings movies and/or J.R.R. Tolkien’s books, then these prequels will be must-sees!
