Halloween ’09 is going to be berserk with new horror flicks, and The Box is yet another intriguing story. Cameron Diaz stars as an unhappily married woman, Norma Lewis, who finds a wooden box on her front porch one day. She and her husband Arthur, played by James Marsden (Cyclops from X-Men, Hairspray) are then promised a million dollars.
Of course, there’s a catch to the creepy box. If the couple takes the money, someone in the world will die randomly… but judging from this trailer it doesn’t appear to be so random.
The Box hits theaters on October 30, just in time for a good date night. Love and money, with a little death on the side!
