Phil Jackson Out! Rick Adelman in?! Lakers Very Interested! Need New Coach!
While the Lakers’ season pretty much just ended, they have already been on a serious hunt for a head coach to replace the retiring Phil Jackson!
The Los Angeles Lakers are intrigued by Rick Adelman‘s history with the Trailblazers, Kings and Rockets as well as the similarities between Adelman‘s ‘corner’ offense and Phil Jackson‘s ‘triangle offense!
Kobe Bryant has made public his support for in-house candidate and current assistant coach Brian Shaw, but Mike Dunleavy and Jeff Van Gundy are also solid candidates.
Whoever they decide to go with, they have some big shoes to Phil, I mean fill!
