Three months ago we posted the teaser trailer for Why Did I Get Married Too, and now Lionsgate has released a full theatrical trailer. It looks like a lot of fighting in this one, and Patricia [Janet Jackson] is getting violent!! The film will be in theaters April 2.

The sequel to Tyler Perry’s popular 2007 film Why Did I Get Married will hit theaters in April 2010, with the original cast returning. Why Did I Get Married Too will see Janet Jackson, Sharon Leal, Malik Yoba, Jill Scott, Richard T. Jones, Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Denise Boutte, Lamman Rucker and Keesha Sharpe all stepping back in for their roles from the original movie.
Joining the cast for Too will be Louis Gossett, Jr., Cicely Tyson and songbird Keyshia Cole. The plot seems to be pretty simple”¦ the couples all reunite on vacation, and someone’s ex-husband shows up trying to win back his now re-married ex wife. Of course anyone who has seen the first movie knows that it’s Mike’s (Richard T. Jones) sorry ass trying to simper back into Sheila’s (Jill Scott) life now that she’s happily married to Troy (Lamman Rucker) ”“ all after Mike made the decision to scam on Sheila’s simple minded frienemy Trina (Denise Boutte).
Meanwhile, Marcus (Michael Jai White) has transitioned into being a sports newscaster, and the ever-suspicious Angela (Tasha Smith) is back to her old ways of mistrusting him. Terry (Tyler Perry) finally got his wish of having kids with his wife Dianne (Sharon Leal), but that’s becoming difficult. Patricia (Janet Jackson) and Gavin (Malik Yoba) are unraveling in their less than perfect marriage as well.
